Lexington Beauty College has been in continuous operation for over fifty years in Lexington. In 2000, Halloran Enterprises, Inc purchased the school. The school is licensed by the state of Kentucky,.

Lexington Beauty College is located behind a major shopping center served by major access roads.  The school is blessed with a stable clientele from a middle class city of over 260,000.  It is designed to serve all types of clients including handicapped.  However, it is not designed to serve handicapped students.  Our school is well stocked with a variety of products that enable our students to become familiar with the major products of the industry.  It is also equipped with modern training aids such as overhead projectors, VCR equipment, and two computers for the students to access. LBC accesses 5,000 square feet of space including  -- 40tations, 11 Hair sinks, one nail classroom, one freshman classroom, three offices, one break area, two supply rooms, one laundry area, two restrooms, and a front desk and lobby. LBC HAS one Marcel stove, 6 flat OR CRIMP irons, and 75 wigs for styling.  The Aesthetics Room contains three facial chairs, two machines with over eight functions, Two waxing machines, one dressing area, two towel steamers, one ultraviolet sanitizer, and related crèmes, lotions, towels and equipment related to the program.    A Library containing  257 VCR Tapes, 99 sets of Pivot Point on tapes, 235 books relating to the course.

Who We Are

STAFF MEMBERS

1. Ms Ann Halloran received her basic cosmetology diploma from the Bowling Green Beauty School. Ms. Halloran taught on the salon level for several years in South Florida before returning home to Lexington to work.  Ms. Halloran also holds a CSW license, and her role at the school is Director of Student Services.  She has also owned and operated several salons in the area.

2. Ms. Betty Barmann is the night class Instructor, and has held a license to teach Cosmetology for over twenty years. She brings much to the school in a variety of experiences. She has worked in the field for over three decades.
